2024 Educational Scholarship

Investing in Your Future.

We, at Monterra Credit Union, believe that access to higher education is a catalyst for long-term success. That's why — since 2008 — the goal of Monterra Credit Union's Educational Scholarship has been to help our local students with the growing expenses that come along with pursuing a college education.

This year, Monterra Credit Union will offer four (4) $5,000 Educational Scholarships. Awards will assist in paying for tuition, housing, books, or meal costs. The maximum award is $5,000 per scholarship recipient†. The awarding of the scholarships is based on high school Academic Standing (25%), Extra-Curricular Activities (25%), and Essay Prompt (50%); and any additional unmet financial need may also be considered based on information provided in the essay submission (optional).
